NEWS ALERT:
Effective 7/1/18: Anyone working in a Category 1 restaurant with a CFPM certificate must also obtain additional training in allergen awareness from an ANSI-accredited provider within 30 days of employment and every three years thereafter.
Effective 1/1/18: To become a CFPM, you must take an ANSI-accredited training course and pass an ANSI-accredited national exam with a score of 75% or higher. CFPM national certificates are valid for five years. The City of Chicago will still maintain its certification.
